Lead Compositor will be handling a team of compositors. Compositors work closely with Visual Effects Supervisors and CG Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete visual-effects shots. 5+ years of previous experience in high-end feature film, commercial VFX or 3D feature animation compositing, 6+ months of stereo conversion compositing experience.Compositors seamlessly integrate all the layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and computer graphic elements.
Scripting or programming experience is a plus. Experience with Maya or equivalent is a plus. Traditional art portfolio/demo reel demonstrating strong artistic skills including knowledge of color, lighting, perspective, scale, and composition is a plus. Must have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills Desire to learn from others and to take on increasingly challenging shots Ability to give and take direction and structure working practice so that design changes can be efficiently made Proven ability to work closely in a small team with tight schedules Ability to understand and interpret the creative requirements in order to create an accurate representation of stereoscopy A familiarity with stereo compositing and. Excellent understanding of VFX and stereography Essential Skills: An excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke.
